In 1985, Bill Ryan received the California Exporter of the Year Award, presented by Governor George Deukmejian. This accolade recognized the company’s success in marketing California-made products globally.

In 2006, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger honored TOP 1 Oil Products Company for its achievements in promoting California-manufactured products overseas.
TOP 1 Ack Attack Sets Land Speed Record
In 2006, the TOP 1 Ack Attack motorcycle, piloted by Rocky Robinson and engineered by Mike Akatiff, set a new land speed record for motorcycles, achieving a speed of 342.797 mph (550.403 km/h) at the Bonneville Salt Flats.
2010
TOP 1 Ack Attack Breaks Its Own Record
On September 25, 2010, the TOP 1 Ack Attack team broke its own record, reaching a speed of 376.363 mph (605.697 km/h), reaffirming its status as the world’s fastest motorcycle.
