TOP 1 SUPER AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID (ATF)  is designed for use in most automatic transmissions where DEXRON III or MERCON fluids are recommended. TOP 1
SUPER ATF is a high-performance multi-purpose transmission fluid which provides smooth consistent all-weather shifting and all- around lubrication protection of transmission components.
Recommended for automatic transmissions in passenger cars, light trucks, and heavy duty vehicles.
Also recommended for Power Steering or Mobile Hydraulic Systems. It is an excellent choice in any transmission where the manufacturer recommends a DEXRON-III, MERCON, ALLISON C4, or Caterpillar TO-2 fluid, DENISON and VICKERS pumps.

  • DEXRON®-III (Dexron 3): This was a very widespread General Motors (GM) automatic transmission fluid specification. It was used for a long time in a vast number of GM vehicles, as well as many other manufacturers’ vehicles that chose to use it. Dexron-III has since been superseded by DEXRON®-VI, but many older vehicles still require or can use fluids that meet the Dexron-III performance level.
  • MERCON®: This was a widely used Ford automatic transmission fluid specification. Like Dexron-III, it was very common in Ford vehicles for many years. MERCON has also been superseded by newer Ford specifications like MERCON® V, MERCON® LV, and MERCON® SP.
